A LITTLE CLARITY.

Mochi Cafe · Corpus Christi, TX Privacy & analytics

This website helps you explore Mochi Cafe’s menu and find its online ordering and contact services. Here’s how optional analytics and browser preferences work. Mochi Cafe is operated by DT & KC LLC.

Online ordering through Chowbus

Order links take you to Mochi Cafe’s official Chowbus storefront. Chowbus handles item selection, checkout, payment, and any customer information you provide there under its own privacy practices. This website does not collect or process your order or payment details.

We use the same fixed ordering link for everyone. It carries fixed source labels (utm_source=mochi_cafe_website, utm_medium=referral, utm_campaign=website_order) so Chowbus can count orders that started on this website. We do not append customer information, menu selections, or the query parameters from your visit to that link. An order-link click does not tell this website whether you completed a purchase.

Browsing and getting in touch

Call and email links open your chosen app, directions open Google Maps, and social profile links open that network’s website or app. Those services handle the information you provide through them under their own privacy practices.

Analytics is your choice

Optional Google Analytics helps us understand page visits and which menu and contact links people use. It only loads on this website’s main address, when analytics is enabled for the site and you choose “Allow analytics.” Preview and test copies of the site never load it. You can browse the menu without allowing it.

When available, use “Analytics settings” or “Privacy settings” at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Selecting “No thanks” stops further analytics events from this site and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not delete information already sent to Google.

Our custom events describe menu views, category choices, and clicks on order, call, email, directions, or social profile links. They include the menu category, social network name, or link placement where relevant, along with the page path and referring website’s origin. URL query strings and fragments are excluded from those page fields, and addresses that don’t exist on this site are reported as one fixed “not found” page. We do not send names, phone numbers, email addresses, or message text in these events.

If Google Analytics is configured, we keep validated campaign labels from your landing link in memory while this page remains open, including navigation within the site, so removing them from the address for Meta does not lose them. They are sent to Google only after you allow analytics. They are not saved in browser storage or sent to Meta. Declining analytics discards this copy. Campaign labels must not contain personal information.

Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visits after you allow it. Advertising storage, ad personalization, and Google Signals are disabled in this site’s analytics configuration. A link click is measured as a click, not a completed order or enquiry.

Meta advertising measurement is a separate choice

Meta advertising tracking is currently disabled on this website.

If enabled for this website, Meta Pixel only loads after you choose “Allow Meta tracking” in “Privacy settings.” Permission for Google Analytics does not allow Meta tracking. You can decline it and still use the website. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep Meta tracking off even if permission was previously saved.

Meta receives PageView events to measure advertising, along with browser and connection information such as your IP address, browser type, page URL, referring website, and cookie identifiers. Meta may use cookies such as _fbp and _fbc to recognize visits. We do not send order contents, names, phone numbers, email addresses, payment details, or purchase events, and automatic event collection and advanced matching are not enabled by this website.

Advertising links may include a Meta click identifier and campaign labels. Before Meta tracking, recognized campaign labels are removed from the page address and are not sent to Meta. After your permission, a click identifier may be kept in the _fbc cookie for up to 90 days to connect a visit with an advertisement. Unapproved URL fields or unsafe referrers prevent tracking that page visit.

Select “No Meta tracking” in “Privacy settings” to stop further Meta events from this site and delete its accessible Meta cookies. This does not erase information already received by Meta. Your separate Meta choice is saved in this browser; if storage is blocked, it applies only to the current document. Learn more about Meta’s use of information in its Privacy Policy.

Preferences saved in your browser

Your analytics choice is saved in this browser. It remains until you change it or clear the site’s browser data. If your browser blocks this storage, the choice still applies to the current page.

The home page also remembers that the short introduction has been shown during the current tab session. These preferences are separate from analytics cookies.
